The Healthy Smile School

Ensuring the child is properly prepared for his or her visit to the dentist and making certain that everything goes smoothly is an extremely important factor shaping the child’s future attitude to dental treatment. Children are afraid of the unknown. Thanks to acclimatisation visits the child comes to see the surgery as a fun and pleasant place.
To foster such positive attitudes we have set up our own „The DENTART Clinic Healthy Smile School".

The guiding principle behind our scheme is to promote health by making children aware of the importance of prophylaxis and frequent check-ups of children’s dentition. Another equally important goal is health education, since the dentition and oral hygiene of Polish children are far from perfect.

The main purpose of allowing children to visits our clinic is to offer them instruction on proper oral hygiene as well as a step-by-step guide to a dental visit. During these classes children can familiarise themselves with medical devices and find out about everything that interests them, obviously under the supervision of our expert staff. Later, if their parents give their written consent, we can give each child an oral check-up. Their parents will receive the results in writing.

Wishing to continue what we had begun successfully two years ago we are inviting all schools and kindergartens to co-operate with us. Our classes are open to organised school groups covering forms I-III, IV-VI as well as nursery school groups of 5 and 6-year olds.
